Hello! My name is Claire, a Filipino travel enthusiast. I have crossed the land border between Cambodia and Vietnam so many times, rode the scenic train to Machu Picchu, hiked Everest Base Camp, hitchhiked in Myanmar, took a 30-hour bus to Laos twice, chased wild animals in South Africa, missed a train from Milan to Venice, and got stopped from boarding a flight to Colombia because I didn’t have a Yellow-fever vaccine card!
I have travelled to over 30 countries with just a Philippines passport, covering six continents. I started travelling in 2013 when my sister asked me if I wanted to go to Denmark to be an au pair. That stunt lasted for two years. After that, I packed my bags and started travelling the world.
My Danish friends made me realise there’s more in life than going through the work-motion I grew up believing in. They inspired me to discover the world.
The original plan was just a 6-month backpacking trip across Southeast Asia then I will head back to the motherland and start a new chapter.
But that didn’t happen.
Today, over ten years later, I’m still here – collecting passport stamps and applying for visas with my Philippines passport.

- 2 African countries
- 14 European countries
- 1 Oceanic country
- 1 North American country
- 6 Asian countries (+ the 9 ASEAN)
- Total of 36 countries
WHO IS THIS SITE FOR
My goal is to help my fellow Filipino passport holders build the courage to apply for that visa for the destination they’d been dreaming of.
The worst thing that could happen is you get a “denial”, and the best thing that could happen is you get to travel.
